I used a mix of this years and last years downloads to make this cute halloween wall hanging.
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yvZ0JBwP6So/UIbWmqybtcI/AAAAAAAAIe4/Z4Bfzizdo4A/s1600/october%2B177.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="376" width="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yvZ0JBwP6So/UIbWmqybtcI/AAAAAAAAIe4/Z4Bfzizdo4A/s400/october%2B177.jpg" /></a>
<b>Instructions
</b>
Begin by making tourself a chipboard circle. As my background paper was prunted on A4, your circle needs to be smaller than A4. Cover the whole thing in patterned paper, and ink and distress the edges.
Next tie string around the circle as shown to form a spiders web.
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eSPHObxN4Q4/UIbXJvOSIZI/AAAAAAAAIfE/q54AvGyQCOM/s1600/october%2B156.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="349" width="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eSPHObxN4Q4/UIbXJvOSIZI/AAAAAAAAIfE/q54AvGyQCOM/s400/october%2B156.jpg" /></a>
Next begin to tie string around the wed lines from the middle outwards. Dont stress about the neatness, have you ever seen a perfect web naturally.
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NCpgPZbq9hY/UIbXkV9V5fI/AAAAAAAAIfQ/1AeRXpaq4JE/s1600/october%2B158.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="382" width="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NCpgPZbq9hY/UIbXkV9V5fI/AAAAAAAAIfQ/1AeRXpaq4JE/s400/october%2B158.jpg" /></a>
Next i used a set of sixxiz bigz dies to make the wood BOO. I covered each one in more downloaded patterned paper before inking all the edges. I added the word to the bottom of the circle.
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JIFe-Jdi6PM/UIbYLxZILuI/AAAAAAAAIfc/r0CMRrYhu1w/s1600/october%2B159.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="318" width="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JIFe-Jdi6PM/UIbYLxZILuI/AAAAAAAAIfc/r0CMRrYhu1w/s400/october%2B159.jpg" /></a>
Once i was happy with the placement of the word, i added black cardstock to the back of the circle.
Next i made myself a selection of folded rosettes in varius sizes, 1" strips, 2" strips and made the fods at 1/4 and 1/2" to give different sizes.
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TYX17xhOR9Q/UIbYwjfoq8I/AAAAAAAAIfo/IsMaiDpl3oQ/s1600/october%2B161.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="375" width="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TYX17xhOR9Q/UIbYwjfoq8I/AAAAAAAAIfo/IsMaiDpl3oQ/s400/october%2B161.jpg" /></a>
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CmO2T7fsp9A/UIbYw4Wry9I/AAAAAAAAIf0/YQ7xS5ijLbE/s1600/october%2B168.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="362" width="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CmO2T7fsp9A/UIbYw4Wry9I/AAAAAAAAIf0/YQ7xS5ijLbE/s400/october%2B168.jpg" /></a>
I cut a little banner from another download, added it to chipboard and then hung it from the circle.
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ah7ae61CPv0/UIbZHXYavZI/AAAAAAAAIgA/HqU5zkA3oPk/s1600/october%2B169a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="70" width="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ah7ae61CPv0/UIbZHXYavZI/AAAAAAAAIgA/HqU5zkA3oPk/s400/october%2B169a.jpg" /></a>
To finish i added little pumpkins, bats and ghost to the hanging randomly.
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bse79nsAQ_U/UIbZ2j6sbtI/AAAAAAAAIgY/w44yfrpP-U0/s1600/october%2B169b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="171" width="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bse79nsAQ_U/UIbZ2j6sbtI/AAAAAAAAIgY/w44yfrpP-U0/s400/october%2B169b.jpg" /></a>
And there you go, a cute wall hanging.
And dont forget to leave a comment a few posts down and you too could be playing with your very own creativity club downloads.

<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0139.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="799" width="735" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0139.jpg" /></a>
<blockquote><b>Materials</b></blockquote>
<blockquote>Chipboard (Mountboard)cut at the following size</blockquote>
<blockquote>Lid
1 1/2 x 4 1/8 (4 pieces)
4 1/8 x 4 1/8 (4 pieces)</blockquote>
<blockquote>Base
4 x 2 (1 pieces)
4 x 4 (1 pieces)</blockquote>
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0069.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="600" width="800" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0069.jpg" /></a>
<blockquote>Take the set for the lid and place them on your chosen patterned paper or card stock, (This will be the inside pattern), with the square piece in the middle and the sides butted up to the middle square. Cut around them leaving a slight edge.</blockquote>
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0070.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="600" width="800" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0070.jpg" /></a>
<blockquote>Using a good quality wet glue, cover the patterned paper. Lay out your pieces again, making sure they are touching and that you have smoothed out all the air bubbles. Set aside to dry.</blockquote>

<blockquote>Repeat the same process with the base pieces. Set aside to dry. Once both pieces are dry, trim off the excess paper right, up to the edges of the chipboard. You should be able to bend into a rough box shape, pattern facing in.</blockquote>
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0074.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="600" width="800" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0074.jpg" /></a>

<blockquote>Cover the paper with glue. Holding the box formed, add it to the middle square of the glued paper. Push the side paper with the extra ½” top and side onto the chipboard. You will see why the need for the extra side piece now, as it wraps onto the chipboard either side. Do the same on the opposite side. </blockquote>
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0091.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="600" width="800" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0091.jpg" /></a>
<blockquote>Now you can add the remaining side pieces to hide the overlaps. Clip the corners and fold in the top over hanging pieces to finish. Use clamps or bull dog clips to secure until completely dry.</blockquote>
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0093.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="600" width="800" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0093.jpg" /></a>

<blockquote>Repeat the exact same process with the lid (TOP TIP) if using very thick chipboard, increse the size of the lid dimensions by a couple of mm or the lid wont fit the base and you will split the sides, Lesson learnt the hard way).</blockquote>
<blockquote>Once dry, take a bone folder and carefully run around all the edges to give a nice embossed edge look. Distress and ink the edges when dry. And here is the finished box complete with a gift tag and matching card. The papers are Docraft Capsule collection.</blockquote>

Well here is another one i have been playing around with.
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0097.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="215" width="500" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0097.jpg" /></a>
<blockquote>Take a A4 piece of card and trim to 8 x 8". Score in half and fold to give you a long 4 x 8" card base. Take a piece of patterned paper and trim slightly smaller than your base. Glue to the base. Add a ribbon and bow and another smaller piece of ribbon </blockquote>
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0095.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="273" width="500" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0095.jpg" /></a>
<blockquote>Next choose your images to decorate the card. I went for cute teddies. Trim them ready. </blockquote>
<blockquote>Cut pieces of chipboard slightly bigger than your images. Cover with patterned paper. Ink and distress the edges. Add to the card base with foam pads.</blockquote>
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0094.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="209" width="500" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF0094.jpg" /></a>
<blockquote>Add the images to the chipboard tiles, again using foam pads. Add a flower to the bow and a welcome baby sentiment to finish.</blockquote>

It's been a fab journey and can you believe its been almost 3 years since Caroline asked me to join the team. The challenge of creating beautiful projects with Caroline's wonderful products has kept my sane thru the university years and exam nightmares and gave me plenty of non baby time when our surprise bundle popped along. But there is no longer a happy balance between health, family and craft time, so i am taking a break.
I wish Caroline all the best for the future and what ever new ventures are on the horizon. And pop along to the bubbly funk site as there is currently a <a href="http://www.bubblyfunk.co.uk/">50% off sale</a> going on so take advantage.
And i will leave you with a little medly of some of this years projects.

And having a craftroom that is a tip with the floor having stepping space only wasnt good for the creative juices to flow. So me and DH got out a tape measure, paced a few floors, scratched a head or two and set to work reorganising a tiny space.
And this is the result. I am pleased with it. It may not look like something out of a ikea catalogue but we made use of what we had and a budget of zero pounds! DH put new shelves up for storing my little boxes. We shifted an old Welsh dresser in which now houses all my fabric, S & C stuff, embellishments, stamps etc. There is work space for crafting and i will do all my gluing, heating and messing with tools etc here.

Great fun was had by the whole family and she ate her body weight in strawberries and raspberries.

And here is a sneak peak of a layout i created.
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/sneak1-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="351" width="374" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/sneak1-3.jpg" /></a>
And its getting to the point were i cant find the desk so i feel a clean up on the horizon. I remember the days long ago when i used to have nothing on the table except the project under construction and then i used to tidy away everything ready fresh for the next one. Ha, oh i wish those days would return, lol

I have made lots of cards and I am still undecided which to send as I want it to be very special for them.
Here is one of my cards, made for CBN, with some simple instructions.
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF9945-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="667" width="500" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF9945-1.jpg" /></a>
<b>Materials<i></i></b>
• A4 cardstock
• Patterned paper (G45:Little Darlings)
• Ink (SU)
• Ribbon (SU)
• Bakers twine (SU)
• Buttons
• Embellishments: G45 stickers
<b>Instructions<i></i></b>
Template
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/Template.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="799" width="627" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/Template.jpg" /></a>
I began by making myself a template. I hand drew a onesie shape out roughly, then refined the lines. Once I was happy with the shape, I scanned it, enlarged it and printed it out twice onto a piece of A4 card. I have attached one of then. Save, enlarge, print.
I cut out the shapes. I covered the back piece in spotty paper. I added a spotty paper to the bottom half of the front piece and a vintage text/ image piece to the top half. I inked all the edges.
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF9939.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="629" width="500" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF9939.jpg" /></a>
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF9943.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="659" width="500" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF9943.jpg" /></a>
To decorate I added bakers twill, ribbon, buttons and stickers to the front. I added a decorative strip to the back and another sticker.
<a href="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF9941.jpg" imageanchor="1" style=""><img border="0" height="678" width="500" src="http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/slcarrington/DSCF9941.jpg" /></a>
Once happy with the front and back onesies, add glue above the line area on the template. Stick them together to finish.
And there you go, a very quick and easy baby card that looks adorable.
