Classic you LO

So this week i played around with the new prima again for my weekly bubbly Scrumptious project and made a LO with lots of little vintage pics i found of my Nan who died over the summer.

They sum up what my nan was all about for me, family. She was never still, always in the kitchen feeding the family no matter what time of the day, lol

You can find all the info HERE.

I love how this LO turned out in the end.

Freedom for the craft pit....erm i mean room

So my poor craft room has been locked shut for over a year as i didnt want to be distracted with crafty projects whilst trying to undertake my last year of university. Occasionally it would be unlocked and another pile of craft stash would join the mess but that is about it.

So as nesting is underway and i have tackled the bedroom/ nursery, reclaimed the dining room back from being my uni studyroom, sorted all the clothes in every wardrobe/ chest of draws/ laundry pile, the craftroom was left.

It took me 3 days to remove the contents, clean and wade thru the stash/ trash. I then spent a 4th day putting it all back.

I have had a good few hours a day in there and have had a few digs from Keith about is this my new home again, lol. I need my private heaven in a all male household, lol.

And check out my new CRAFTY COMPANION. He thinks its his den where he can sit and admire the view, lol. And eat my scraps/chipboard!!!!

So my first creation in the new tidy room was a LO based on a sketch i made for Bubbly crumptious last week. This is the sketch

and this is the LO.

If you join in, leave a comment with a link on bubbly. Katy has done a loverly fun one for this week a well, so check it out.

Playing with NEW Prima

So for bubbly this week, i got to play with the NEW Prima Fairy Flora collection. I started this project at my crop on Sunday as we were playing with inks and viva inka gold.

The box was a necklace box i think in some past life and i made my album with cardboard packaging and prima packaging.

Here are the instructions

Here are the pics.

Crafty Weekend

It was our monthly crop at Banff today and we had something special planned. One of members, Angela works in a craft shop and is very talented. So we decided that we would like her to teach us a class, lol

And look at these little beauties she taught us how to make with wonderful step by step instructions.

I started 2 other projects which are going along nicely so as DH is on nights i might just get finishing them.

And whilst i am blogging i might as well show you the entries i submitted for Jacqui at Simply Create. The LO and card where made at our last crop as well when i seemed to have a search in mojo for once.

A LO celebrating the bump and babe

A card for many occasions

Enjoying this mojo return and long may it last.
