Its worse than a handbag.......

I have decides to reclaim my dinning table. Currently it is used to house my laptop, printer and mound of college stuff. But since college has now finished for the summer, wayhay, its all getting packed away.

So the printer and laptop are now back in the craft room as is my new love, the sewing machine. Just need to tidy a pile of craft rejects and its done.

So whilst i was in the craft room getting ready i decided to sort all my tools etc for next weeks holiday of a life time to scrap-a-ganza, another wayhay. I emptied my tote bag and OMG, what a pile old crap had accumulated at the bottom of it. Its like a black hole and definitely worse than my mum's handbag (i don't have a handbag, all my essentials go in my pockets, i travel light, lol).

Yuck.

So whilst i was sorting it all in to piles of button, flowers and ribbons etc i decided to quickly decorate some little favour boxes i was practicing on with the silhouette. Made from scraps.

Not bad for a beginner and its 4 years since i did my last wedding stuff, lol

Anyway that's me done but i may be back with the sewing LO i started, good job shabby chic is all the rage, mine is definitely on the shabby side, lol.

Thanks for all the comments, guys, i do appreciate them, makes me really happy somebody likes my stuff

Bye for now

Lots to show you....

First its that time again, Caroline has launched this month's new kits. There is a Cosmo cricket one which lends itself more towards a boy theme and the other one is the beautiful Clare by Elsie. You can find them here and here.

Here are some Lo's that i made with the cosmo kit

Next i have a LO made from the left over bits from my NSD kit.

And lastly my LO for the page prompt challenge over on Carolinez craftz forumz. This weeks prompt was to use fabric. I found i long strip of denim fabric which i used on some love elsie paper along some cherry arte paper.

What's in a name

I found this whilst blog hopping.

Is this really me.

What Sarah Means

You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong.
You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.
You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic "Type A" personality.

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.
You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.
You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.
Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.
Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

Not really sure about alot of this. You can do your own name here.

Another word book

I just love making these little books. They are so easy to make your self from A4 mount board or chipboard. I made my " BOYS" book from mountboard and decorated with my NSD kit from Carolinez Craftz kitz. I also made a little mini book with one of Carolinez new die cut brachet shaped mini books which you can find on the shop in the next few days.

Here are the pics. I went over board with the camera again, lol

Dreaded Exams

Well i had the first of my big exams yesterday. There were no surprises but i was not happy with what i had done. It was Marine Biology which is a really interesting subject. I felt my answers where a bit bland but when i checked over my revision notes everything on them i included in my answers so we will just have to wait and see.

So i have had my Marine Biology Species indentification exam already so that just leaves Interpretating Risk tomorrow and Microbiology on Thursday. Not looking forward to either of these ones.

Have a party planned for Thursday evening, may just pop the cork on a bottle of wine and while away the evening watching TV which i havent done in a wee while.

Of for some last minute revision

I said i would dine out on these engagement pics.....

I just had to scrap one of the pictures of Mookie and Gemma. I used the Making Memories shield, Teresa Collins paper from the journal it range and the chipboard birdie, all from the sold out April kit from Carolinez Craftz kitz.

I also used basic grey PP and more making memories 5th Avenue paper as well as ribbons, chipboard hearts and buttons. All these papers can be bought individually now from caroline.

The shield had a blue strip around it that did not match my theme so i cut it off and then reattached it on the reverse as it still looked cool.

Congratulations Mookie and Gemma

We found out last week that my born bachalar brother Michael who has always said he will never get married has proposed to his partner Gemma. The wedding is to be a big affair in the summer next year. We are so pleased as Gemma is a loverly girl and the boys cant wait to start calling her aunty gemma.

Michael sent a load ofpictures up including the ring. I will be dining out on these for a few weeks scrapbook wise i think.

That's it for now put i am off to print the picture of the ring before i hit the books again.

Heidi Swapp papers

I bought the gorgeus monthly kit from Caroline last week. It has all the new Heidi Swapp patterned papers in it. They are just so whimsical that i started scrapping on them the day they arrived. I had two photos that i felt were just perfect for them.

And as you can see i finally have a new camera. Keith got it for my birthday on Monday. Its a Fuiji Finepix S5600. I havent had time to play with all its bits yet but i will soon.

I took loads of pics of my LO's, i went a bit mad, lol
