Simply Create

So another kit has arrived from Simply create and this time its a very vintage christmas kit. Its in my colours as well, cream, golds and browns, Mmmmmmm.

So here is my first project. The kit had a little notepad, perfect for altering. So i made another fabric paneled cover like the one i did for bubbly a few weeks ago.

And i have been playing around with another project. What do you think these could be.

Bubbly wednesday or should that be Thursday

I am running late again, i seem to be on a go slow, i wonder why!

So here is my project from yesterday. I really wanted to use this cute scan pic as its a facial close up and makes it all seem so real and not just a blob on the screen.

And seeing as i have been in the raftroom alot lately, i thought id show you how my good intentions of cleaning between projects was coming along.

Not very sucessful, lol

But here it is after a quick tidy up as i have some big projects i want to start.

The Graduate

On Friday i graduated from University of Highlands and Islands (UHI), Moray. It was a loverly day and the ceromony was great. But i didnt expect to be 8 months pregnant when i started my final year and looked to the future of graduation. THe event organisor was fab and had folk looking out for me all over the place, as it was very hot and there were lots of stairs all over the place.

So hear is my graduation pic. THis is the edited version as my bump is well on display and its not so much a bump anymore but a bloody mountain, lol. And look at that pregnancy round, glowing face, Mmmmmm!!!!

Anyway, i am so proud. 4 years of blood, sweat and tears with plenty of laughts and new experiences along the way.

Mondays Child mini canvas

So for Vanilla Sugar this month the challenge was to make a canvas or wall hanging.

And here is my project. Its a mini canvas for my nursery space.

I also made a full set of instructions for this project as a class and submitted it for the Green Buttons scrapping Bonanza that ran over the weekend. UNfortunitally i didnt get to participate in the event as the bump was being its usual unoredictable self and i spent alot of saturday in the hospital and then it was catch up sinday and cropping ready for the retreat in a few weeks.

You can downlaod the instructions HERE
