Scrap schemes

There has been a new scheme posted over at scrap schemes so click on the linky of the right to go see it. I loved this one as its black and white and features butterflys, those butterflies again, lol

Here is my take on the challenge.

Go leave some love on the blog and check out all the other girls beautiful work.

Today is my anniversary and i am all alone, lol. The men folk ie keith (DH), my dad and dan and alex have gone fishing seeing as the sun decided to come out for a little while. Mind you there is a big black cloud heading thier way by the looks of it, lol

But the boys are off to my folks tonight so we are having a take away and a dvd, twilight. keith actually listened to my LARGE HINTS for once.

So i am going to hit the pigstye of a craft room (not to clean, no no no) but to play. Dyan from art from the heart has a little competition on her blog to use the queenie collection downloads from lisa's altered art and make a queen inspired project. So i am all printed and away i shall go. No idea what i am doing but hey ho, thats craft for you.

Catch yo later

The first one here was a photo screen i made of Alex and Koby.

This LO was created for the sketch challenge for the monday challenge.

Scrap schemes is live

The next scrap scheme is now live. Head on over to see what all the DT have produced.

When i first saw the scheme i immediatly sat and cut out lots of little felt circles in greens, browns, white and creams with an idea in mind to make a family tree LO. But after loosing all last years photo's off my hard drive and no camera to take some nice ones i had to quickly change my plan.

I had a really nice pic of the boys fooling around from when i was taking pics for the RP projects so i went with that.

Armed with my little circles i went thru my stash to find a very bright Blonde Moments paper that i fought was just perfect.

Off to clean my craft room again, its a pigsty!!!

Scrap Schemes

So exciting, my first LO for scrap schemes has gone live with the rest of the wonderful LO's by the DT. Head on over to see the wide variation we have all achieved from the same scheme.

So here is my LO. I apologise for the light but my craft room is very bright at the mo as its a conservatory.

I have already started work on the next one, some of my favourite colours as well.

A bit of good news

So I got an email from Katy last week and had to sit on the info until now. But yesterday the announcement was made.

After so many wonderful entries and much deliberation the new Scrap Schemes DT Members are...

Marix Marte

Nina Von Loeper

Sarah Carrington

Sarah de Guzman

Tracy-Lihanne Lane

Vickilyn Crawford

I hope you'll all extend a warm welcome to all the new girls! I'm sure you are as excited as me to see their takes on the next Scheme! Check back next week for their first Scheme!

I am thrilled to be part of the team especially as i have plenty of free time on my hands now, lol

So what's it all about. You can head on over to Scrap Schemes for a look. The idea about Scrap Schemes is to take the scheme/picture posted to use it as your inspiration to create!

Scheme 20 is up now and is a loverly zingy summer scheme. Scheme 21 goes live next week and i have been creating over the last few days so sneak peak soon.

Thats it for now
