Sweet goodbye's

I am sad to say that i am leaving Bubbly Scrumptious. It's been a fab journey and can you believe its been almost 3 years since Caroline asked me to join the team. The challenge of creating beautiful projects with Caroline's wonderful products has kept my sane thru the university years and exam nightmares and gave me plenty of non baby time when our surprise bundle popped along. But there is no longer a happy balance between health, family and craft time, so i am taking a break. I wish Caroline all the best for the future and what ever new ventures are on the horizon. Fruity Loopy

This week for Bubbly Scrumptious i created a layout based on Rebecca's first outing to a pick your own fruit farm. Great fun was had by the whole family and she ate her body weight in strawberries and raspberries. You can find all the info HERE on how i made the LO and a complete list of materials. Just thought id share a sneak as i got my craft groove on in the pit this evening as the sun was shining, the birds were singing and the swedish were rocking out of my ipod, lol.

Its been a while

I cant believe lookinh at the date that its been over 3 weeks since i last blogged. But its a busy old time here at the moment with the boys having lots of activities at schhol as they break up for the summer on Thursday, so i have been baking, teaching, starting my SU stuff up and generally meeting myself coming backwards as the old saying goes.

But here is a little sneaky peaky of something for bubbly tomorrow.

I am ahead of myself

Its amazing how you can get caught up craft wise when DH is around to baby sit the devil child. I spent the afternoon creating in the clean and tidy pit.

Enjoying life

This week i have created a Layout, i know, shall i pick you up of the floor. Its been awhile since i make a layout.

I loved mixing different sized and colour photo's to create this collarge style LO.

And now my craft room is clean, tidy, organised and warm, i hope to get back into the creative flow.

Anyway, off to make R some dinner. I am experimenting with ham, cheese, asperagus and puff pastry at the moment. Smells nice, shame i cant enjoy my labour as i am on a diet.

PLus trying to pack for our anual crafty retreat. R keeps chucking my clothes every where. Think i better wait until tonight.

For bubbly this week i make a clock for my kitchen. I have lusted after a Kaiser one but couldnt source when out so i decided to have a go myself.

Mixed media Journal

So its bubbly day again today and i have been playing around with fabric, stamps, inks and paper and getting messy with the sewing machine.

This project is an amalgination of 3 projects from a book i received at Christmas by Ruth Rae. My interpretation is nowhere near as good or nice as Ruths but i am so proud of my little creation. Head on over to Bubbly Scrumptious

Mojo is dancing.....

So the grumpy old gits that are my husband and son number 2 are watching the football in bad moods as Liverpool as losing so i have the ipod on loud with Mumford and sons on and my mojo is dancing round the room whilst i create a bubbly project for tomorrow. Go mumford, lol.
