A few months ago i joined a challenge over on UKS for my team's house. The first person in each group was given a sketch and had to do a LO then pass it on to the next person and so on. It is amazing how they all began to change , even from the first LO.
It took a while for all the groups to finish but i can now show you mine. Here it is.
Here is my first project as Guest DT for the loverly Leo at Quirky Kits. I just love webster's papers and mixing in a modern paper such as Lilybee certainly gives this LO a modern "quirky" feel.
And there you go. I hope you like it. You can find all the instructions on Quirky Kits (Subscribers Only)and Crafty Templates.
So anyone who is a MLS fan will know they announced their new DT yesterday. Huge congrats to all the girls especially our Becky, lol.
I actually applied on a whim. I saw the call, and went out to visit Jacqui at the shop and remembered she used to stock MLS. I picked up half a dozen sheets from the sale box and got busy. I didnt in my wildest dreams think i would get in and i didnt but i gave it ago and produced some of my favourite projects of the year so far.
First is a Dan LO, how my little chicken is growing up fast.
Next is a card. Regular readers will know i hate making cards, lol
And next is a mini album, a pocket book of sunshine
And last but by now means least my favourite, my little sunshine.
I had a ball creating these projects and poured my heart and soul into them, which is what its all about really isnt it.
So i scraped for me this week, no dt work, just me. I created a LO for a green buttons challenge over at UKS. The challenge was to scraplift a LO. I chose Ali's my gorgeus girls LO. I loved its simplicity and beauty.
But mine didnt look simple in the end as i did my usual chuck everything at it, lol. I was inspired by Alex's T shirt.
Exciting News. I am the guest designer for the quirky kit this month. I just cant wait to have a play with it as its just lush and even more beautiful in real life.
