If you arrived via the Rusty pickle blog, thanks for hoping by and i hope you enjoy seeing all the chef's creations and continue on in your hop.
If you arrived via somewhere else or you are a regular reader, then head on back to the Rusty Pickle blog and start at the beginning of the hop, you are in for a treat.
So here is a little project for you. My eldest son has just started his last year at primary school (P7) and now thinks he is the BOSS of the school. It is going to be a very important year for him with preparation for high school etc.
I decided to make a mini album to capture all these little preparations and document his last year.
I took a RP 6 x 6 album and decorated it in rockin america PP.
I took 6 large envelopes and decorated the front side with more rockin america PP and the back flap with pp. These envelopes will be used to collect letters, report cards, ephemera etc. They can also be used for photo's as well.
Next i made pages using red, white and blue CS. I decorated each page with tags, journal spots, coupons and stamped journal cards ready for photographs or little stories.
I decorated a couple of file folders as well for embarrising stuff he doesnt want on display.
I also liberated a few pages from other shaped RP albums such as the star album and the fancy shaped album. The star page will be used to collect "good work" stickers etc
And here are the photo's. Overload, be warned.
I hope its given you a little inspiration.
And now to the winner of last weeks RAK. The random number generator has chosen number 2. And that is Lesley

Now I thought I had left a comment on the last one but it was on the reminder... duh.. One day I may get the hang of this blogging lark (be kind, I've not got many brain cells left what with having 4 kids)... Anyway Sarah once again I love your stuff and wish I had half your energy and enthusiasm... Take care...x
Hi Sarah,
have hopped over from Beckie, love your project - what a fantastic idea. Don't have a favourite yet as this is only my second chef on the hop, and I don't think I'd be able to choose a fave anyway :)

Hey Sarah,
First that i have visited your blog. But not that last. Beautiful. love the notebook and all the RP goodies.
Hi Sarah. I wanted to thank you for showing your project. I love the idea of creating a mini book to showcase a child's school year. Next year my youngest will be the king of her school in 5th grade, I will have to make something like this for her and her older sister a year later as she completes her final year of schooling. I live in U.S. so not sure if I am eligible for the RAK, but loved your project. Thanks for inspiring me.
