Crafty Weekend

After last week big event i have put aside loads of projects that i now need to do. Firstly I have joined a calendar swap over on UKS. Its the first time i have done anything like this so was a bit nervous. I had to make 12 6x6 pages in the colour yellow and representing the month of April. I cut up April calendar paper and arranged it in a collarge style around the edge. I added doodling to separate each square and left a space in the middle of each one for any pictures. I made paper flowers by cutting 2 circles of matching patterned paper, one slightly bigger than the other and then cut wedges out. I added a button to each to finish off and a piece of yellow ribbon.

I found this hard to do as i am a 12 x 12 scrapper and have never done anything so small before. But i enjoyed it once i got going even though it took me all day today.

Also i have a big bag of waste. Any suggestions as to what i do with them. Everyone in my address book are getting easter cards next year, lol

Next job on the list is to finish my circle journal ready for its first posting. Then i have to decide whether i am doing this weeks weekly challenge over on UKS. Then i have to do a BOM prompt from Roz's challenge over on UKS and then i wont to play around with finishing some of last weeks stuff off.

The circle journal is calling.....................
